What the forms collect

Table requests, groups and events enquiries, and contact messages collect the details you type in: name, email, phone, date, party size and your message. We use them to reply to you and to run your visit or event. Table and enquiry details are kept in our booking and enquiry system, and staff get an email copy.

Joining the list and CASL

We only send marketing email or texts with your express consent. The boxes are never ticked for you, and email and text are separate choices. Every message names Sidebar, shows our mailing address (161 Danforth Ave, Toronto ON M4K 1N2) and gives you a way to unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribes right away, and always within 10 business days. We keep a record of the wording you agreed to, the time and the page, so we can show your consent was real.

Transactional messages, such as a reply to your table request, are not marketing.

Who sees it

Sidebar staff and the service providers that run our website, email and texting. We do not sell your details.
